What's My Story?
The long months of winter isolation a distant memory, I lead my cubs into a warm patch of sunshine where they can jump and play. Are you hiking nearby? I hear you calling “hey bear!” every few minutes. Good idea. My cubs are cute but I am fierce if you come near them!

Artist's Note:

To me, the mama grizzly is a study in contrasts: fierce if bothered, but tender, protective and nurturing to her cubs. Her cubs are playful and blissfully unaware of the world beyond their home.
