What's My Story?
It might seem strange, but we magpies are a sheep’s best friend! We stand on their backs or hover nearby, waiting patiently for seeds to fall from the endless helpings of grass the sheep eat. And the sheep? Well, they don’t seem to mind at all. Because, you know...we’re not rude.

Artist's Note:

​It may sound funny, but magpies really do hang around sheep, and sometimes land on them. The sheep hardly seem to notice. I guess they have thick coats and magpies don't weigh too much.
