What's My Story?
Thoughts of egg-laying and grub-scratching are banished as we spot a fox circling our henhouse. Our eyes widen and we wonder how to escape. One of us realizes she doesn’t need to run faster than the fox — just faster than the rest of us. Mildred always was the smartest in the coop.

Artist's Note:

I love the looks on the chicken's faces. They're so expressive, yet remain aloof when I try to talk to them. That's fine, I don't speak chicken very well.
