Heads Up

Oil on Canvas  |  24 x 24

What's My Story? My calves grazing calmly nearby, I dip my head into the quiet swamp waters to retrieve mouthfuls of blissfully cool sustenance. Artist's Note: I saw this mama moose in the wilds of British Columbia’s Kootenay region. She remained calm at all times, not perturbed by my presence. I admired her focus while respecting her from a distance.
